Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Check-in and Check –out process?

Check-in time is 2pm or any time later. Check-out is before 11 am. Our Company representative will meet you in the apartment at the agreed time, and come to collect keys for the check-out. This is very convenient as we will be able to answer your questions and give the short brief about the area around, as well as show how to use electronics in the apartment, connect to Wi-Fi etc.

What is provided in the apartments?

There will be some complimentary hand soaps, shampoos and shower gels,1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, dish washing materials, first set of garbage bags and a set of drinking water, tea & coffee bags and sugar so you can fresh up with shower and a cup of drink after arrival before going to the grocery.

All our apartments are Self-Catering Vacation Home Rentals, so the basic things are provided before your arrival only.

Before your arrival we will be sure to prepare apartment perfectly for your stay, you will find fresh bed linen on each bed and set of big body towels (4 per person).

Please note, that the additional cleaning/bed linen and towels change should be ordered on advance if needed, and should be paid separately.

Can I request Baby Equipment or extra bedding?

Yes, we can provide you with the additional bedding set ( bed linen, duvet, pillows) and/or a baby cot (up to 2 years old baby). This should be requested and paid at least 48 hours before your arrival.

What if we arrive late and do not want to spend time going to the grocery?

Most areas have 24/7 supermarkets/groceries within walking distance, however we understand that after the long trip the last thing you may want is to go there.

We will be happy to provide a greeting pack on request: Greeting Pack includes Bread, Butter, Cheese, Tea, Coffee, Milk, Orange juice, Water– $68. Please keep in mind, that the request should be submitted and paid at least 24 hours before the arrival.

How can I reserve a vacation home?

Simply choose the apartment entering your travel dates, number of bedrooms and preferred area of stay and leave the request on our web site. Our representative will get in touch with you shortly. We will be highly appreciate if you will

For the booking confirmation we request to make an advanced payment of 300$ payable by bank transfer or in our office.

What is a minimum length of stay?

The standard minimum stay is 3 nights, and may be up to 7 nights during the New Year season. However some vacation homes have 1 month minimum stay.

How far in advance can I book a vacation home?

You can book your stay up to 5 months in advance, reserving your vacation home early locks in the rental rates of the year that the booking is placed in.

Is the security refundable deposit needed?

Yes, apartment from rental price you will be asked to pay the security refundable deposit in cash (500-800USD depending on the property). This will be refunded during the Check-out if no damage occurred.

Can I smoke in the apartment?

All our apartments are strictly non-smoking. You can smoke at the balcony. All our balconies are furnished with table and 2 chairs. You will find an ashtray there for your convenience.

Smoking on a balcony, please be sure not to throw cigarettes from it. This is dangerous due to heat in Dubai, may result in the fire or fines from local authorities.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed. Our apartments are safe for people with allergy and kids. Bringing pet will result in the cancellation of the stay with no refund.

Can I use Pool/GYM?

Yes. We will provide you with the Pool and Gym access, some of the buildings have sauna and steam facilities and children playing room.

Each guest is solely responsible for it’s own safety, however there are the lifeguards in the pool area during the day time.

What is your right of entry to the home?

Authorized employees of APRICUS HOLIDAY HOMES or our Maintenance/Cleaning Service people can enter the premises upon guest’s request and with the advance notice. However, if the guest breaks the policies or have inappropriate behavior, APRICUS HOLIDAY HOMES has the right to enter the premises and evict the occupants at any time.

How many will the home accommodate?

Occupancy depends on the bedding capacity and based on the number of guests registered during the reservation. APRICUS HOLIDAY HOMES has the right to evict without refund, for unauthorized occupancy.

Maximum occupancy (may differ according to apartment)

Studio- Sleeps 2
1 Bedroom – Sleeps 2-4
2 Bedroom – Sleeps 4-6

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, the booking can be cancelled, cancellation policy to be applied depending on how long in advance you requested booking cancellation.

Can I offer my vacation rental on your web site?

It is not possible to directly offer your property on our website as each vacation home should be registered in DTCM under the Licensed Holiday Homes Company to become a legal vacation home rental. We will be glad to guide you through the procedure and then allocate your property on our web site.
